Each Strawberry system that is part of the Skies cloud infrastructure can be reached via a dedicated subdomain. Per default, Projective provides the domain “skies.link” under which your custom subdomains can be created.

Standard Skies URLs

Assuming your company is called “ACME” and is located in New York City, then the following example would be applicable.

acme-nyc.skies.link

If your company has branches in London and Paris and assuming that Strawberry is deployed in these branches, then the below examples would be applicable.

acme-london.skies.link
acme-paris.skies.link

Branded Skies URLs

If you have full control over the name server (NS) records of your domain, then you can also use a fully customized URL to reach your Strawberry system via Skies. For this, you first need to specify a DNS zone for Skies, which basically is a subdomain of your existing domain. Assuming that your companies name is “ACME” then the subdomain could look like this.

skies.acme.com

Once you have created the subdomain, we will provide you with Name Server (NS) records that you can assign to it. Please note that you don’t need to create additional subdomains for each of your companies branches/locations! All we need from you is a single subdomain such as “skies.acme.com”. Location-specific prefixes will be added via the Strawberry configuration later. If your company has branches in London and Paris and assuming that Strawberry is deployed in these branches, then the below prefixes would be applicable.

london.skies.acme.com
paris.skies.acme.com

Anonymized URLs

If you want your URLs to be anonymized, you could go with a numeric subdomain. Example:

6737437.skies.link
6737437.acme.com
