Creating a Template

Usage

1. Log into the Administration panel and click on the Projects tab.
2. Click on the Manage Project Templates bar to expand it.
3. Click on the Create New button.
4. In the Create Template modal, provide the following information:

Name

The name of the template.

Preset

Select one of the presets that will be applied to the template when a new project gets created.

• Generic
  This is an empty preset. No additional folders will be added to the template.

• Avid
  Every project created using this template will automatically contain an Avid MediaFiles and an OMFI MediaFiles folder.

• Adobe
  Every project created using this template will automatically contain an Adobe Cache folder.

Token

When creating a new project, every folder named after this token will be renamed to follow the below pattern.

Pattern

The pattern that replaces the token upon project creation. The default pattern “%Y%m%d-name” translates into 20180501-Projectname. If you don’t want the date in file or folder names, use only %name as the token. If you want to add a custom date and number scheme to the preset, please look at the list of Supported Unix Time Modifiers.

5. Click on the Create button to create the new template.
