Introduction
Unlocking an edit will forcefully close projects that are currently opened by this edit. Users should save any progress in their editing/creative applications before the unlock operation gets initiated by the Admin.
Usage (Manual Unlock)
- Log into the Administration panel and click on the
ACCESStab. - Click on the
MANAGE EDITSbar to expand it. - Check the box next to the edit you wish to unlock.
- Click on the
UNLOCK EDITbutton below the edit list and confirm.
Usage (Auto-Unlock)
Strawberry allows you to specify the time after which an edit should be auto-unlocked. An edit is eligible for unlocking if it has at least one open project and the user has not been active for the specified number of hours (e.g. a computer is asleep or client was closed without prior user logout).
- Log into the Administration panel and click on the
ACCESStab. - Click on the
MANAGE EDITSbar to expand it. - Below the list of edits is a setting named
Auto-unlock edit threshold (hours):. - Specify the number of hours after which an edit should be unlocked and press
Save.
