3.4.1.2.3. Inviting a User

Requirements

• OIDC-based invites are available since Strawberry 7.0.8

Usage

1. Log in to the Administration panel and click on the ACCESS tab.
2. Click on the MANAGE PAM AND GALLERY USERS bar to expand it.
3. Click on the INVITE USER button below the user list.
4. Provide the information as requested.

• Email: Provide the email address of the user you wish to invite.
• Invitation message: A custom message that should be part of the invite email.
• Role: The role that the user should have in the system.
• Skies Tier: The Skies tier of the user, usually Creator or Contributor.
• Team: The team that the user should be a member of.
• Login Method: Choose Native if the user should create a username and password on first logon, or choose OpenID if you want the user to connect through your company’s SSO.

5. Click on the Invite User button to cpmplete the invite. The user will receive an email with an Accept Invite link.
6. Once the user has been invited you can select the user in the user list and assign them to additional teams and to specific projects.
