4.8.3. Importing Transcripts into Adobe Premiere

Requirements

• The workflows below require the Strawberry Adobe panel extension, which can be downloaded from the Projective support portal.

Importing Full SRT Transcripts into Premiere

1. In the Strawberry Adobe panel extension, double-click on the asset to go to its Details view. You can also click the details icon that appears when hovering over the asset.

2. Click on the Import button above the proxy preview and select the transcription track you would like to import.

3. The transcript will be imported into the selected bin.

Importing a Transcript Segment into Premiere

A transcription segments is a sentences or part a sentence. You can import these segements into Adobe PRemiere as subclips.

1. In the Strawberry Adobe panel extension, double-click on the asset to go to its Details view. You can also click the details icon that appears when hovering over the asset.
2. In the preview tab, click on the toggle icon in the lower right corner until it is toggled to Transcript. The assets transcript will become visible as an overlay.

3. Hover over the transcript segment that you wish to import. You can use the search field aboce the transcript to find transcript segments based on keywords or speaker names.

4. The transcript segment will be imported into the selected bin as a subclip with trimmable boundaries.
