An “External Library” is a folder structure outside of the default Strawberry-managed folder structure on the storage. Strawberry can index the external folder structure for proxy file creation, metadata indexing, and searching. Media in “External Libraries” remains where it is, meaning that Strawberry will not move or modify it.
