“Share via Email” Link Expiration

Assets shared via “share via email” links can be set to automatically expire after a set time period. Users who have the role capability “Can define custom expiration dates for “Share via Email” links” enabled in their user role can override the Admin-defined time period when they share an asset via email.

When the defined time period has been exceeded, then the “share via email” link will no longer be accessible to the user with whom it got shared in the first place. When an asset gets shared with multiple users over time, then the link expiration will count for each user individually.

Usage

1. Login to the Strawberry Admin panel
2. Click on the “Misc” tab
3. Click on the “Security Settings” bar to expand it
4. Change the time period after which “Share via Email” Links should automatically expire
5. Press “Save”
