Requirements
- This feature has been available since Strawberry version 7.0.11 or newer.
- The workflows below require Strawberry’s Transcription Service, which requires a separate license.
- To change transcription settings, you must be an Administrator in Strawberry.
Usage
1. Log in to the Strawberry Admin panel.
2. Click on the Assets tab and then on the Transcriptions Options accordion.
3. Under Transcriptions Options, the following option is available.
Audio Tracks to Transcribe
This setting defines which audio tracks of an asset are sent to the transcription service. This applies to both automatically generated transcripts and transcripts requested by a user. This setting is useful when you always want specific audio tracks transcribed, since those tracks contain the relevant speech. Users can still create transcripts for other audio tracks on demand.
By default, Audio Tracks to Transcribe is set to All Tracks, which means that all audio tracks of an asset will be transcribed. When changing the setting to Specific Tracks you can enter the exact system names of the audio tracks to be transcribed by default (e.g., ‘Track1’, ‘Track2’).
4. Press Save to apply the changes.
